Welcome to ARY Energy Auditing Services!
At ARY Engineering, we are dedicated to helping businesses and organizations reduce their energy consumption and costs. One of the ways we do this is through energy audits that are conducted according to ASHRAE Standard 211.
What is an Energy Audit?
An energy audit is a comprehensive assessment of a building’s energy use. It is designed to identify areas where energy is being wasted and to provide recommendations for reducing consumption. Our energy audits are conducted by certified professionals who have the knowledge and experience to identify opportunities for energy savings.
How is an Energy Audit Completed?
During an energy audit, our team will evaluate the building’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, lighting, and other equipment to determine their energy efficiency. We will also review the building’s energy bills to identify patterns of energy use and to identify areas where consumption is high.
Energy audits are conducted at three levels to best suit client needs.
- Level 1 – Walk Through Analysis: This is the most basic, qualitative energy audit. It involves an audit of energy bills, visual inspections, and identification of simple energy conservation opportunities ranked as High, Medium, and Low impact.
- Level 2 – Energy Survey and Analysis: More detailed than a Level 1 audit. This audit involves collecting energy use data to perform a quantitative analysis of the building’s energy performance to calculate returns from efficiency updates.
- Level 3 – Detailed Analysis: This is the most comprehensive level of energy audit done as a follow up to a Level 2 audit. It involves a detailed technical and financial analysis of efficiency updates to understand better the capital costs, operational updates, return on investment, and risk assessment of proposed efficiency updates.
Energy Audit Results
Once the audit is complete, we will provide a detailed report that includes recommendations for reducing energy consumption. Here are some of the recommendations the report may include:
- Upgrading lighting systems to more energy-efficient options
- Installing programmable thermostats to better control heating and cooling
- Sealing and insulating the building’s envelope to reduce heat loss
- Upgrading or replacing old HVAC equipment
- Installing renewable energy systems such as solar or wind power
We also provide monitoring and verification services to ensure that the implemented recommendations are achieving their targeted energy savings.
Our energy audits are conducted in accordance with ASHRAE Standard 211, which is the industry standard for energy audits. By adhering to this standard, we ensure that our audits are comprehensive and accurate.
