AutoCAD is a powerful designing and drafting software used to create precise 2D and 3D designs. ARY demonstrates how to manage units and options; draw and modify objects; work with dimensioning techniques; and use attributes, tables, and external references (XREFs). Upon wrapping up this course, you will have the skills you need to confidently use AutoCAD in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or product design.

Civil 3D

Autodesk Civil 3D is a design and documentation solution for civil engineering. This course introduces the basics of the software to new Civil 3D users. ARY shows how to model a surface, lay out parcels, and design geometry, including the making of horizontal alignments and vertical profiles. Next, the creation of corridors, cross-sections, gravity pipe networks, and pressure pipe networks is demonstrated. Finally, feature lines and grading objects are discussed, and the course is wrapped up by providing an overview of the plan production tools.

Revit MEP

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design is one of the major components of the BIM chain—and Revit is the design tool of choice for many MEP engineers. This course focuses on the MEP features in the 2021 version of Revit. It was designed for MEP designers with a beginning to intermediate understanding of Revit.  Upon completion, you’ll know how to create basic floor plans, design electric circuits and lighting systems, tackle a mechanical project, create plumbing plans, and document your designs for construction and fabrication.
